How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Norwich City

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur face the Premier League's bottom side Norwich City on Wednesday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Jose Mourinho's side look to close the gap to the top four.

Spurs have been through a bumpy patch of form in recent weeks, picking up just five points from their last six Premier League fixtures.

Their opponents Norwich picked up a morale-boosting victory against Bournemouth on Saturday and are now just six points adrift of safety.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Spurs could line up for Wednesday's meeting.

Possible TOT XI vs. NOR

Out: Harry Kane (thigh), Moussa Sissoko (knee), Ben Davies (ankle), Hugo Lloris (elbow)
Doubtful: Danny Rose (back), Tanguy Ndombele (groin)

Spurs will be targeting this match as a winnable fixture that can help them get back on track in the Premier League.

Norwich have won just once away in the Premier League season and have picked up a total of five points on their travels.

Therefore, the expectation for this match is that Mourinho will pick a similar lineup to that which faced Watford.

With Lloris still out Paulo Gazzaniga will continue in goal, while Japhet Tanganga will remain at left-back with Ben Davies and Danny Rose not yet ready to start.

In midfield, Eric Dier could return at the expense of Harry Winks, but Giovani Lo Celso should keep his place.

With Harry Kane still a while away from a return, expect Mourinho to continue with a fluid front four of Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela.
