Preview: Lyon vs. Monaco

Sports Mole looks ahead to Friday's Ligue 1 encounter between Lyon and Monaco.

Monaco will be looking to get back to winning ways on Friday when they make the trip to Lyon in Ligue 1.

Leonardo Jardim's side head into the match following a 1-1 draw at home to Lille last time out.

That result saw last season's runners-up slip down to 15th place in the table, with four points from their opening four games of the season.

Lyon have fared little better since the start of the campaign as one win and three defeats have put them in 16th place.

Hubert Fournier's team are on a three-match losing streak in the league, and another defeat on Friday would be likely to put genuine pressure on the manager.

Yoann Gourcuff and Samuel Umtiti are expected to remain sidelined for the hosts, while Clement Grenier is also due to miss out. Monaco have no fresh injury concerns.
