Bernard Tomic: Philipp Kohlschreiber "very difficult" to beat

Australia's Bernard Tomic admits that he found it "very difficult" to beat Philipp Kohlschreiber at the Australian Open.

Bernard Tomic has admitted that he found it "very difficult" to beat Philipp Kohlschreiber in the second round of the Australian Open earlier.

The Australian came from a set down to beat the 22nd seed, setting up a third-round meeting with compatriot Sam Groth.

The 22-year-old said on court: "It was very difficult. He was playing very well. I had to find a way to get out of it. He was destroying me. I had to dig deep."

It is the fourth time that Tomic has reached the third round in seven appearances at his home Grand Slam.
