Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken admits that he may be forced into the loan market to find cover for the injured Slawomir Peszko.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has admitted that injury problems have put a further dampener on a disappointing night for his side.

Solbakken watched his team lose at home to Crystal Palace despite taking an early lead through Sylvain Ebanks-Blake.

A bad night at Molineux was compounded by an injury to Slawomir Peszko, who damaged knee ligaments.

Solbakken told the club's official website that he may be forced into the emergency loan market to find cover for the winger.

He said: "Peszko is not good. His knee ligaments are stretched and unstable he will be out for a while, four to six weeks I think.

"That is the second game for us that a wide player is injured and that makes us a little bit vulnerable in that area.

"A loan is always a possibility and now it might be something we look at, we will see what we can do."

Defeat thanks to a Wilfried Zaha brace means that Wolves drop to fifth in the Championship table, level on points with the Eagles.
