Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly the man Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to bring in as a future replacement for Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly earmarked Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as the ideal man to replace Zinedine Zidane when the Frenchman eventually quits the Bernabeu.

Zidane has already won seven trophies in less than two years at the helm, including back-to-back Champions League crowns and the La Liga title last time out.

According to The Sun, however, Los Blancos chiefs fear that the 45-year-old could call it a day in the next year-and-a-half and have already looked at possible replacements.

Perez is said to be a fan of Pochettino, who impressed Madrid's hierarchy with the way he conducted himself before and after Tuesday's 1-1 Champions League draw in the Spanish capital.

Former Espanyol player and manager Pochettino has been at Spurs since May 2014, guiding the club to third and second place in the last two seasons.
