Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane says that a decision on Gareth Bale's future will be made this summer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has revealed that a decision on Gareth Bale's future will be made at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Bale has a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2022, but his future at the Bernabeu is far from secure having struggled to perform this term.

At the weekend, it was reported that Los Blancos had already rejected three separate bids from Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain for the Wales international but would be prepared to sell for £94.7m this summer.

Zidane has said that Bale "is an important member of the squad", but suggested that the 29-year-old could be moved be on ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.

"Gareth is an important member of the squad. We know what he has done here, even in Champions League finals. Nobody can take away what he has done. We know he can bring a lot to the team, and we will count on him," Zidane told reporters.

"We are going to play these 10 games [the last 10 of the season], and then we will see. That does not mean that, afterwards, there will be changes."

Bale has scored 102 goals in 225 appearances for his Spanish club since a 2013 move from Tottenham, but he has only managed eight La Liga strikes this term.
