Manchester United could sell Diogo Dalot during the January transfer window if they can find a replacement for the right-back, according to a report.

Manchester United would reportedly be open to selling Diogo Dalot during the January transfer window if they can find a replacement for the Portugal international.

Dalot's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Roma believed to be keen to sign the right-back at the start of 2022, having been impressed by his form on loan at AC Milan last term.

The 22-year-old recently suggested that he had no plans to seek a move away from Old Trafford despite being behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the pecking order for the right-back spot.

However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Man United would be open to selling the Portuguese in January if they are able to sign a replacement.

Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier continues to be strongly linked with the 20-time English champions, while a recent report claimed that Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was considering using Jadon Sancho as a right-sided wing-back in a 3-5-2 formation.

Roma director Tiago Pinto recently refused to be drawn on suggestions that his side could move for Dalot during the winter transfer window.
