Kevin Nolan keen to spoil Manchester City celebrations

Kevin Nolan hopes that West Ham can spoil Man City's title party and help boyhood club Liverpool win the Premier League today.

Kevin Nolan is hopeful that West Ham United can gatecrash Manchester City's title party and help boyhood club Liverpool win the Premier League.

The Sky Blues need only a point from their end-of-season clash with the Hammers at the Etihad Stadium today to seal a second league crown in three years.

However, Nolan, who grew up on Merseyside and spent five years with the Reds as a youth, hopes that his West Ham teammates pull off a major shock and aid his former club's title triumph.

"I think I would be celebrating with them if they win the league. I hope they do it," the 31-year-old told reporters.

"It's looking good in the fact that it's great to see Liverpool in that position on the last day of the season.

"We've got a few boys who were there last year and still have friends there, and obviously with my affinity with Liverpool, it would be a nice way to finish off the season."

Liverpool host Newcastle United at Anfield at 3pm this afternoon.
