Liverpool have been drawn against Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup, while Tottenham Hotspur will face Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Reds survived a scare to see off Shrewsbury 4-1 on Sunday, and Tottenham also had to do it the hard way to overcome Morecambe in North London.

Jurgen Klopp's men have now been rewarded with a tie against Cardiff, who saw off Preston North End after extra time thanks to Mark Harris's 116th-minute winner.

Meanwhile, Spurs' opponents Brighton overcame West Bromwich Albion after 120 minutes in the third round, while reigning champions Leicester City will face either Arsenal or Nottingham Forest.

Kidderminster Harriers have been rewarded for their win over Reading with the visit of European-challenging West Ham United, and Cambridge United will pit their wits against Luton Town.

Other standout ties in the fourth round include Plymouth Argyle's trip to Chelsea, and Boreham Wood face a journey to Championship leaders AFC Bournemouth.
