Matt Done double gives 10-man Rochdale victory

Rochdale come from behind to beat Leyton Orient 3-2 thanks to a brace from Matt Done.

Matt Done scored twice as Rochdale came from behind to beat Leyton Orient 3-2 despite playing much of the game with 10 men at Brisbane Road.

Done had given Dale the lead inside four minutes when he unleashed a fizzing shot which found the bottom corner of Gary Wood's net.

Ian Henderson nearly provided the Lancashire club with a second goal before Jobi McAnuff scored an equaliser for the East End side.

Orient should have increased their lead midway through the first half when they were awarded a penalty. Ashley Eastham was given a straight red card for his challenge on Darius Henderson, but Chris Dagnall saw his spot kick tipped away by Conrad Logan.

The Londoners finally edged ahead minutes before the break when Henderson played in Romain Vincelot, who headed the ball home.

However, Rochdale made an inspired start to the second half when Peter Vincenti smashed a shot into the net from close range.

Done then gave Keith Hill's men the lead on 66 minutes when he received the ball from Stephen Dawson before hitting his effort across Woods into the bottom right corner.

Dagnall and David Mooney squandered chances to equalise late on and Rochdale were able to hold on for a win that moves them into the League One playoff places.
