Team News: Dean Gerken out for Ipswich Town

Dean Gurken is left out of Ispwich Town's side to face Blackpool after picking up a later injury.

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Dean Gerken is out of his side's Championship encounter with Blackpool at Portman Road after boss Mick McCarthy was forced to make a late call on his fitness.

The Tractor Boys, who could move level with sixth-placed Reading should they win, are able to include Luke Hyam after the midfielder overcame a knee injury to face the Tangerines, while Paul Green in handed a home debut for the hosts.

Blackpool interim boss Barry Ferguson, who has yet to feature in the team for the Fylde club since succeeding Paul Ince, has again left himself out of the squad.

Steven Davies will lead the Tangerines forward line with injuries continuing to sideline Tom Barkhuizen and Bobby Grant.

Recent signings David Goodwillie and Elliot Grandin are on the bench for the visitors.
