Sports Mole looks at how Germany could line up against Mexico in Tuesday's international friendly.

Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann is expected to make two or three changes to his starting side for Tuesday's international friendly with Mexico.

Nagelsmann's reign as manager of the national side started with a 3-1 victory over the USA on Saturday, and a strong starting XI took to the field for the non-competitive fixture.

The 36-year-old will be looking to build rhythm ahead of Euro 2024, so the bulk of the side that started last time out should continue, but Niklas Sule could potentially replace Mats Hummels at the back.

Leon Goretzka and Julian Brandt could also come into the XI, with Pascal Gross and Florian Wirtz likely to be the two players to drop down to the bench.

Jamal Musiala, who was on the scoresheet against the USA, is set to be vital to Nagelsmann's plans, and he should again be joined in an attacking position by Bayern Munich teammate Leroy Sane.

Niclas Fullkrug was given the nod down the middle last time out and justified his selection with a goal, so the 30-year-old should retain his spot at the tip of the attack.

Kai Havertz and Thomas Muller will also be pushing to be involved at some stage, but there will be no Joshua Kimmich, as the midfielder has left the training camp and returned to Munich due to illness.

Germany possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Tah, Sule, Rudiger, Gosens; Goretzka, Gundogan; Brandt, Musiala, Sane; Fullkrug
