Danny Swanson leaves Coventry City

Danny Swanson's contract at Coventry City is terminated by mutual consent.

Danny Swanson has had his Coventry City contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 28-year-old played 18 times for the Sky Blues since joining from Peterborough United last summer, and spent part of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone.

The midfielder is now expected to re-sign for the Saints on a short-term contract.

Swanson failed to score a goal for Coventry throughout last season.
