Half-Time Report: Lille frustrate Monaco in first half

Monaco dominate the first 45 minutes at Stade Louis II but cannot find a way through against Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is frustrating a dominant Monaco in the sides' Ligue 1 clash at Stade Louis II, as the game remains goalless at half time.

Inside the first minute the recalled Bernardo Silva could have given the home side the lead but the Portuguese midfielder could not convert his header.

Nabil Dirar then found himself clean through on goal but could only win a corner after being denied well by Enyeama.

The chances kept coming for Monaco as Ivan Cavaleiro fired wide before linking up well with Layvin Kurzawa soon after, but Guido Carrillo could not apply the finishing touch.

Lille were forced into an early change when defender Sebastien Corchia, booked minutes earlier for a poor challenge on the lively Cavaleiro, picked up an injury and was replaced by Adama Soumaoro.

Monaco came closest to breaking the deadlock a minute before half time when Jeremy Toulalan's free kick was saved by Enyeama, but the home went into the break frustrated.
