Report: Arsenal to sign Vincent Koziello

A report claims that Arsenal expect to sign Nice youngster Vincent Koziello in the January transfer window following another successful scouting mission.

Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a deal for Nice youngster Vincent Koziello ahead of the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Chelsea, joined Nice in 2013, initially representing the B side before making his senior debut one year later.

According to The Metro, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sent a scout to watch the attacker in action against Lyon on Friday, when Koziello scored in a 3-0 win.

The Grasse-born France Under-20 international has scored twice and registered two assists in 13 Ligue 1 appearances for Nice this season.

Arsenal are expected to be in the market for at least one new midfielder in January following the news that Francis Coquelin will be out of action for at least the next two months.
