Report: Arsenal board eye Pep Guardiola, Roberto Martinez

The Arsenal board have drawn up a list of replacements for Arsene Wenger, reports suggest.

The Arsenal board are losing patience with Arsene Wenger and have drawn up a list of possible replacements for the Frenchman, reports suggest.

According to the Daily Star, Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola tops the wishlist, with Everton's Roberto Martinez also being considered to take over from the 66-year-old.

Former Barcelona boss Guardiola has made no secret of his desire to manage in England, telling the Football Association in a filmed message in 2013: "As a player, I couldn't realise my dream to play there.

"But I hope in the future I have a challenge to be a coach or a manager there and feel the experience of all the coaches and players that have been there.

"It is unique, to play in that league. I want to feel the supporters, the environment, the media and the style of the players."

Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal for 18 years.
