Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Southampton

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their trip to Southampton as Dele Alli pushes for a return after 10 games out.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to build on their memorable Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund when they return to domestic action away to Southampton on Saturday.

Effectively now out of the title race, Spurs are instead looking over their shoulders with only four points separating them from fifth place following a run of three Premier League games without defeat.

However, Mauricio Pochettino's side were hugely impressive over both legs to beat Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate and seal their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, completing the job with a smash-and-grab 1-0 win at the Westfalenstadion on Tuesday night.

Tottenham's attentions will now switch to St Mary's, and here Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news for the contest.

Winks was deemed fit enough to start against Dortmund following recent hip and groin problems, but he was forced off 10 minutes into the second half after suffering a recurrence of the same injury. The midfielder has played down the severity of it, but he remains a doubt for the trip to Southampton.
