Juventus allegedly receive word from Spain that Cristiano Ronaldo is on course to sign for them this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo's proposed £88m move from Real Madrid to Juventus is said to be edging over the line.

Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici have received word from Spain that the deal is progressing, according to Sky Sports News.

Ronaldo is reportedly keen to join the Old Lady for a "new experience", and the report suggests that his agent Jorge Mendes is in ongoing talks with Real in the hope of brokering the deal.

The Portugal international's former club Manchester United were rumoured to be plotting a bid for him at one point, but the latest reports indicate that they will not rival Juventus for his signature.

Ronaldo has scored 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions and won two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns during his nine-year stay at Real.
