West Ham United manager David Moyes says that the Hammers have 'no intention' of allowing Declan Rice to leave this summer.

West Ham United manager David Moyes has insisted that the Hammers have 'no intention' of allowing Declan Rice to leave the London Stadium during this summer's transfer window.

The England international played a leading role in West Ham securing sixth position in the Premier League table, with the capital giants qualifying for next season's Europa League.

Manchester United and Chelsea are both believed to be interested in signing Rice in the upcoming market.

However, speaking after Sunday's 3-0 win over Southampton, Moyes insisted that the club are not interested in listening to offers for the 22-year-old, who has a contract at the club until June 2024.

"I don't think [co-owners] David Sullivan, David Gold or myself have got any intention of losing Declan Rice," Moyes told reporters.

"We've just qualified for Europe, it's a brilliant achievement. Declan has been a big part of that and we want him to be a big part of what we do next year as well."

Rice returned from a knee injury to feature in West Ham's final three Premier League matches of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton.
