Sports Mole rounds up the latest standings in the Champions League 40-goal club as Mohamed Salah becomes its 18th member, while Robert Lewandowski passes 90.

The Champions League 40-goal club welcomed its 18th member on Wednesday night as Mohamed Salah became the latest name to join the exclusive group.

The Liverpool forward broke a host of records on his way to the fastest hat-trick ever seen in the Champions League, adding plenty of extra layers of gloss to a 7-1 win for the Reds over Rangers at Ibrox.

Salah scored his hat-trick with just nine touches of the ball, while he has also now moved clear of Didier Drogba and Sergio Aguero as the player with the most Champions League goals for a single English club, his treble taking him up to 38 during his time with Liverpool.

While Salah joined the gang, some of the established members also added to their tallies as Robert Lewandowski netted a brace to move past 90 and further clear of Karim Benzema as the third-highest scorer of all time.

Lewandowski's old partner in crime Thomas Muller also registered his 53rd Champions League goal to close in on Ruud van Nistelrooy's overall tally.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at the latest standings in the all-time Champions League scoring list following this week's action.
