Team News: Leeds United welcome back captain Jason Pearce for Blackpool clash

Leeds United skipper Jason Pearce returns to action as they welcome Blackpool in the Championship, while loanee Brian Lenihan makes his debut for the visitors.

Leeds United have decided to make one change to their starting XI as they face Blackpool in the Championship this afternoon, with skipper Jason Pearce returning in place of Giuseppe Bellusci.

Neil Redfearn's side is to feature a 4-4-2 formation, which sees a midfield four featuring the likes of Tommaso Bianchi and Adryan providing creative support to a strike pair consisting of Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara.

Visiting side Blackpool have made just one change from midweek too, as Hull City loanee Brian Lenihan makes his debut in defence, with Lee Clark opting for a 4-5-1 to be led by lone striker Ishmael Miller.

The forward man is to be supplied by a dynamic five-man midfield, which features the attacking talents of youngsters Jacob Murphy and John Lundstram.

Leeds United: Silvestri; Byram, Cooper, Pearce, Warnock, Cook, Mowatt, Bianchi, Adryan, Doukara, Antenucci

Blackpool Lewis; Lenihan, Daniels, Clarke, Dunne, Blackman, Perkins, Lundstram, Orlandi, Murphy, Miller
