Hull City boss Steve Bruce hands Egyptian striker Mohamed Gedo his first start for the club against Charlton Athletic this afternoon.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has handed Egyptian striker Mohamed Gedo his first start for the club against Charlton Athletic following his goalscoring performance against Derby County in midweek.

In two changes to his side, the striker comes into the team along with Alex Bruce as midfielders Robert Koren and Corry Evans drop to the bench.

Charlton manager Chris Powell makes one change to his team that drew with Birmingham City last week as Bradley Pritchard comes into the team in place of Scott Wagstaff.

The Addicks are expected to line up in a 4-3-3 formation with Lawrie Wilson, Yann Kermorgant and Ricardo Fuller leading the line up front.

Hull City: Stockdale, Chester, Hobbs, McShane, Elmohamady, Brady, Bruce, Meyler, Quinn, Gedo, Simpson

Charlton Athletic: Hamer, Solly, Evina, Morrison, Cort, Wilson, Pritchard, Stephens, Jackson, Fuller, Kermorgant
