How Brazil could line up against Chile

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Brazil could line up for Saturday's Copa America clash with Chile.

After rotating the squad for their final group stage game against Ecuador to rest key players, Brazil will revert to a full-strength lineup for Saturday's Copa America quarter-final clash with Chile.

That will see talismanic forward Neymar return to the front line, having hit two goals and two assists in the first three games of the group stage.

He should be joined in a front two by Gabriel Jesus, while Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino will also be hopeful of a starting place, having recently scored his first goal of the tournament.

The Selecao are not short of midfield options, with Real Madrid star Casemiro and Liverpool man Fabinho set to line up in front of the back four, although they will face plenty of competition from the likes of Fred and Douglas Luiz, given their impressive squad depth.

Behind them, Eder Militao and Thiago Silva could be in competition to partner Marquinhos at the heart of the back four, and we see Tite going with the experience of Silva to guide them through the first knockout game.

Right-back Emerson should keep his spot in the back four ahead of Danilo after he was arguably the most impressive Brazil player last time out in his first start of the tournament as they drew with Ecuador.

There is also intense competition for the spot between the sticks, but Liverpool's Alisson Becker will likely be chosen over Manchester City stopper Ederson after he was given the nod in the final group game.

Brazil possible starting lineup: Alisson; Emerson, Marquinhos, Silva, Sandro; Richarlison, Casemiro, Fabinho, Everton; Neymar, Jesus
