LV= Cup roundup: Cardiff Blues win at Ospreys

Sports Mole rounds up Friday night's action from the LV= Cup, including wins for Cardiff Blues, Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks.

Cardiff Blues have recorded their first win in this season's LV= Cup by beating Welsh rivals Ospreys 21-13 at the Liberty Stadium on Friday evening.

Kristian Dacey and Lewis Jones each scored tries for Cardiff, while Simon Humberstone added a conversion, two penalties and a drop goal, which came five minutes from time to deny Ospreys a losing bonus point.

Meanwhile, Leicester Tigers remain top of Pool Two after winning 21-18 at Worcester Warriors.

Worcester scored three tries to Leicester's two, but, luckily for the visitors, Owen Williams was in fine kicking form, adding 12 points with the boot.

Elsewhere, Harlequins produced a spirited display to collect a losing bonus point against Sale Sharks.

Nevertheless, Sale left The Stoop with five points after David Seymour, Rob Miller, James Gaskell and Danny Cipriani touched down in a 31-26 win for the away side.
