Paris Saint-Germain chief: 'Neymar, Kylian Mbappe do not want to leave'

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are determined to succeed at Paris Saint-Germain and will not seek a move away, according to the club's youth academy sporting director.

Luis Fernandez, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy, has insisted that neither Neymar nor Kylian Mbappe wants to leave the club.

Neymar has been touted with a return to the Spanish top flight after reportedly attracting interest from Real Madrid, who need to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, while Mbappe has been linked with the European champions and Manchester City.

Former PSG manager Fernandez is adamant that both players are happy with life at the Parc des Princes, however, and says that he is 'not worried' about the ongoing speculation.

"Neymar has decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain. He wants to succeed, after not achieving it at the World Cup," he told Radio Marca: "I think that he wants to win titles with PSG.

"Mbappe? He stays too. He has said it, one hundred percent. He wants to win the Champions [League] with PSG. Financial fair play? It does not worry me. The important thing is that both Neymar and Mbappe want to stay at PSG."

Neymar and Mbappe are the most and second most expensive players in world football, costing £198m and £166m respectively.
