Santiago Solari may reportedly still be sacked by Real Madrid before they are next in action, despite Sunday's pressure-relieving victory over Real Valladolid.

Real Madrid may still reportedly part company with manager Santiago Solari this week, despite Sunday's 4-1 win at Real Valladolid.

Los Blancos recovered from a goal behind at the Jose Zorrilla to ease some of the pressure on Solari, who had come under fire following a run of four defeats in five matches.

Victory over Valladolid has done little to lift the lingering mood of disappointment around the Bernabeu, though, as Madrid are no longer in Copa del Rey, Champions League or La Liga contention.

With their season effectively over with two months to go, the Evening Standard claims that Real president Florentino Perez is now weighing up whether to sack Solari before next weekend's home match with Celta Vigo.

Asked about his future in the immediate aftermath of the win over Valladolid, Solari said: "I'm not here to make those evaluations. I am planning the next training session."

Third-placed Real trail league leaders Barcelona by 12 points with 11 matches to go.
