Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Tuesday's Champions League clash with Celtic.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has close to a fully-fit squad for Tuesday's Champions League opener with Celtic in Glasgow.

Jesus Vallejo and Alvaro Odriozola were again missing against Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday due to muscular problems, and the pair are also absent for this contest.

The reigning European and Spanish champions have not reported any other fitness issues, but Ancelotti could make two changes from the side that started in the league last time out.

Indeed, Toni Kroos is likely to replace Eduardo Camavinga in midfield, while Federico Valverde is expected to take Rodrygo's position on the right of the attack.

Aside from Aurelien Tchouameni, who has taken on an important role early in the season due to Casemiro's departure, it could be the same side that started the Champions League final against Liverpool last season.

As a result, Antonio Rudiger might have to accept a spot on the bench once again, with Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy likely to be the back four.

Eden Hazard was not involved against Real Betis on Saturday, and the Belgium international is likely to again be an unused substitute in this contest.

Ancelotti will have the chance to rotate again against Mallorca on September 11, so he is expected to select his strongest available XI for this contest.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Tchouameni, Kroos; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius
