Grant Holt: 'I won't celebrate against Norwich City'

Former Norwich City striker Grant Holt says that he will not celebrate if he scores against the Canaries for Huddersfield Town this weekend.

Huddersfield Town striker Grant Holt has revealed that he will not celebrate if he scores against his former club Norwich City at the weekend.

The 33-year-old spent four seasons with the Canaries, whom he helped to gain two successive promotions from League One to the Premier League before he left for Wigan Athletic in 2013.

Now on loan with the Terriers, he will return to Carrow Road for the first time on Saturday afternoon since his departure.

However, were he to find the net, the centre-forward has admitted that he does not intend to rub it in the face of his old club.

"Everyone knows what we achieved in my time at the club but the nature of football is I am a Huddersfield player this weekend and I will be going down there to do my best for Huddersfield and try to win a game of football," he told the Eastern Daily Press.

"If I score I don't think I could do any celebration because I would probably get lynched. I am coming down to win a game and if I do score then it is what it is. I just want three points, see some old friends, then get up the road and move onto the next one."

Holt scored 78 goals during his 168 appearances for Norwich.
