Borussia Dortmund set an asking price of £131m for Jude Bellingham amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly set an asking price of €150m (£131m) for Jude Bellingham, with the Bundesliga giants widely expected to sell the midfielder during next summer's transfer window.

The 19-year-old has made 100 appearances for Dortmund since his arrival from Birmingham City in the summer of 2020, contributing 13 goals and 18 assists in the process.

Last season, Bellingham scored six goals and provided 14 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions, while he has also been a key player for BVB this term.

The England international has scored three times in 10 appearances at club level during the 2022-23 campaign, including two goals and two Champions League matches.

Dortmund have the teenager on a contract until June 2025, but the club are believed to be planning to cash in on him next summer in a big-money deal.

Liverpool and Manchester United are both believed to be determined to sign the youngster, while there is also thought to be interest from Real Madrid.

According to The Athletic, there is no release clause in Bellingham's contract, and Dortmund would want a fee in the region of €150m (£131m) to let him depart.

"He's an upcoming superstar player. I am totally convinced he will leave Dortmund in 2023, maybe to Liverpool, maybe to Manchester United," Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg recently said.

"I think these are two teams that have very good chances to get him. He's an amazing player, amazing character. Very good personality."

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are also in the race for Bellingham, with the Citizens preparing to rival Liverpool, Man United and Real Madrid for his signature.

"In England, all the top clubs, not just Liverpool, are following Bellingham. Manchester City, for sure, but also Man United have been following Bellingham for a long time, so many clubs will be in the race," Romano said on his official YouTube channel.

Former Man United captain Rio Ferdinand said last week that he believes Bellingham has now "outgrown" Dortmund following his two years at the club.

"I think he's even sitting there like without being too arrogant but thinking 'I've probably outgrown Borussia Dortmund already' I think he'll be sitting there saying that with all due respect. Thinking I'm a year behind when I should've left because he's got that self belief that you need to take you to them heights," Ferdinand told BT Sport.

"It's more interesting to work out what type of player he is and what type of player you'd get in an England shirt where I'm sure he'll play in the summer. He's combative, both sides of the game, aggressive, he's a Swiss-army-knife, he does everything. Great player."

Bellingham made 44 appearances for Birmingham before his move to Dortmund, scoring four times and contributing two assists for the Championship side.
