Agent: 'Marlos Moreno to join Manchester City'

The agent of Atletico Nacional forward Marlos Moreno confirms that his client will join Manchester City before heading out on loan to Deportivo La Coruna.

Atletico Nacional forward Marlos Moreno will join Manchester City before heading out on loan to Deportivo La Coruna for the 2016-17 campaign, according to the player's agent.

Man City have been strongly linked with a move for the 19-year-old over the last couple of weeks and the teenager's representative Eladio Tamayo has confirmed that a deal is near completion.

"I will travel with Marlos on Saturday to sign a contract with Manchester City," he told Futbolred. "He will then go on loan to Deportivo La Coruna for a year. The main architect of all this is Marlos, with his discipline and commitment. I just contributed a little bit."

It is understood that Moreno, who has scored once in seven appearances for the Colombian national team, will sign a five-year contract with the Premier League outfit.
