Crystal Palace reportedly pull out of the race to try and sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is expected to leave the club this month.

Crystal Palace have pulled out of the race to try and sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to a report.

The Italian club have told the midfielder that he is free to leave this month if the right deal comes in for him, with the Old Lady hoping to lower their wage bill.

Ramsey currently earns £400,000 per-week, and he has only started one game for Juventus this season, making another two appearances from the bench.

According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are no longer pursuing the Welsh international, with the club deciding to end their interest in him.

The 31-year-old was said to be interested in joining the Eagles, after he has already turned down offers from other teams in the Premier League this month.

There is intruige from other clubs in England such as Burnley and Newcastle United; however, Ramsey is hoping to secure a deal with a team further up the table.
