Chelsea boss Frank Lampard says that he is open to Callum Hudson-Odoi leaving the club on loan amid talk of interest from Bayern Munich.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has said that he is open to Callum Hudson-Odoi leaving the club on loan before the end of the summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich are allegedly in talks with the Blues over a move for the 19-year-old, who was strongly linked with the German champions last year before penning a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Bundesliga giants are thought to be confident of securing a loan deal for the England international, and Lampard has seemingly given the green light for the move to take place.

"With every player in the squad, if it is a situation of a loan you have to consider what is best for the player, what is best for the club first and foremost, and then see how it stacks up," the Evening Standard quotes Lampard as saying.

"With all those three players (Hudson-Odoi, Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek) I will always take those things into consideration. I have not got an answer on any of those three. I have a good relationship with them all and speak honestly with them. That is one we will broach player by player over the next few days.

"Once the window shuts every player here within our squad will be used because there is a long season and a lot of competition coming up. We will know more on Monday."

Hudson-Odoi has played just 55 minutes of Premier League football this season.
