Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly confident that Son Heung-min will sign a new deal at the club.

The 31-year-old's existing contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire next summer, and there has recently been speculation surrounding his future in North London.

Son is not believed to have any plans to move on, though, and according to Football Insider, Spurs are confident that they will be able to sign him to a new deal in the not too distant future.

Tottenham have the option to extend the South Korea international's contract for a further 12 months until June 2026, strengthening their position when it comes to the forward's future.

Barcelona head coach Xavi is reportedly pushing for his club to sign Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva during this summer's transfer window.

Xavi had been set to leave the Catalan side at the end of the campaign, but he has now agreed to stay with the club, and he is heavily involved in the plans for the upcoming market.

Barcelona will be under pressure to make some first-team sales due to their financial issues, but they are also planning to be active, with the team looking to become a powerhouse in European football once again.

The reigning La Liga champions reached the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League, but they are set to finish behind Real Madrid in Spain's top flight this term.

Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas.

The 22-year-old spent time with Atromitos and OFI Crete, before he left his native Greece to join Lazio last summer.

Mandas has made just 10 competitive appearances this season, keeping five clean sheets and conceding just seven goals.

Although he has spent the majority of the campaign on the bench, Mandas is currently enjoying a run of games in the absence of Lazio's first-choice goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is reportedly one of the players who could be sold as part of Ange Postecoglou's summer clearout.

Spurs have enjoyed moments of promise in Postecoglou's first season in charge, but they have experienced a significant drop-off in recent weeks.

Tottenham's hopes of achieving a top-four finish have been dented by a run of three consecutive defeats to Newcastle United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Postecoglou has already offloaded the likes of Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and Lucas Moura in his first two transfer windows, but he is now set to sanction another wave of departures in a bid to take Tottenham to the next level.

Barcelona have reportedly identified Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey as a potential signing during this summer's transfer window.

There is currently a host of speculation surrounding the Ghana international's future, with his contract at the Emirates Stadium due to expire in the summer of 2025.

Partey has been restricted to just 13 appearances in all competitions this season due to injury problems, but he played the full 90 minutes of last weekend's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

The North London derby proved to be the first time that the midfielder had played a full league match for the Gunners since the second matchday of the 2023-24 campaign.

Rashford 'set for showdown talks with Man Utd hierarchy'

Marcus Rashford will reportedly hold showdown talks with the Manchester United hierarchy in a bid to address his struggles during the 2023-24 campaign.

The England international is currently being linked with a summer move away from Old Trafford, with the Red Devils allegedly prepared to listen to offers of over £70m for the academy product.

Rashford's exit would represent pure profit under the Premier League's rules surrounding profit and sustainability, but a recent report claimed that Man United are not expecting any suitable bids to arrive.

The forward, meanwhile, allegedly has no plans to seek a summer move, with the 26-year-old determined to reignite his career after a disappointing 2023-24 campaign.
