Cardiff City lead Peterborough United 1-0 at half time but it could be even more.

Cardiff City are currently one goal up against Peterborough United at half time in this afternoon's Championship game.

The home team started well, forcing a couple of early corners before Dwight Gayle's shot was saved well by David Marshall.

They almost took the lead five minutes later when a clever Lee Tomlin flick released Tommy Rowe, who ran into the box only to see his shot blocked by Leon Barnett.

That seemed to wake the Championship leaders up and Cardiff started to pepper the home goal with shots from all angles.

Their pressure eventually led to a goal when after forcing a soft corner, Aron Gunnarsson found space in the box to tap the ball home midway through the half.

Cardiff started to dominate the match after that but could not find a second goal before the break.
