Douglas Costa misses Bayern Munich's Bundesliga meeting with Hertha Berlin due to a thigh injury.

Douglas Costa has been left out of the Bayern Munich squad to take on Hertha Berlin due to a thigh injury.

The Brazilian's absence limits the attacking options on offer to Pep Guardiola, who is also without Arjen Robben after he picked up a knock against Olympiacos in midweek.

Kingsley Coman and Thomas Muller are set to start in the wide positions in support of Robert Lewandowski, while Javi Martinez returns to the starting lineup in central midfield.

Hertha are bidding to climb up to third with a victory at the Allianz Arena, and it is Vedad Ibisevic who is given the responsibility of leading the line for the visitors.

Salomon Kalou retains his place, but Jens Hegeler and Valentin Stocker are both forced to settle for spots on the bench.
