Man City's Manuel Pellegrini unfazed by rumours linking Pep Guardiola to his job

Manuel Pellegrini says that he has no problem with Pep Guardiola being linked with his job at Manchester City.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has brushed away rumours linking Pep Guardiola to his job.

The Bayern Munich boss has constantly been linked with a move to the Premier League, particularly the Etihad Stadium.

Reports in Spain have claimed that the 44-year-old has agreed to take over at City, and today, the former Barcelona boss cancelled his pre-match press conference.

When asked about the stories, Pellegrini told reporters: "It's a rumour we've had the last two-and-a-half seasons. I don't have a problem with that."

The Chilean boss signed a new contract at City in the summer.
