How Barcelona could line up against Real Betis

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Barcelona will be aiming to make it six straight La Liga victories when they travel to Seville to face Real Betis on Sunday night.

Ronald Koeman's side have taken 15 points from the last available 15 to rise above reigning champions Real Madrid into second position in the table, but the Catalan giants are still 10 points behind runaway leaders Atletico Madrid, who also have a game in hand.

Barca will also enter this match off the back of a 5-3 win over Granada in the Copa del Rey, which saw them book their spot in the semi-finals of the competition.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up against Manuel Pellegrini's team.

Out: Ansu Fati (knee), Gerard Pique (knee), Sergi Roberto (muscle), Philippe Coutinho (knee)

Barca will again be without the services of Ansu Fati, Gerard Pique and Philippe Coutinho through injury, while Sergi Roberto has suffered a relapse of a muscular problem and is facing another spell on the sidelines.

Koeman will make changes from the side that started against Granada in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, with Sergino Dest and Clement Lenglet likely to return to the back four alongside Jordi Alba and Ronald Araujo.

Ousmane Dembele is also in line to return in the final third of the field, with Roberto, Samuel Umtiti and Trincao expected to drop out from the side that featured in the cup.

Antoine Griezmann netted twice against Granada and will feature alongside Lionel Messi in the final third, while Pedri has been impressive for Barca this term and should retain his position.

Sergio Busquets was suspended for last weekend's 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao, but the midfielder featured in the cup on Wednesday and should now return to the league XI on Sunday night, joining Frenkie de Jong in the middle of the park.
