Report: Juventus in for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi

Mauro Icardi is wanted by Juventus as part of a swap deal with loan club Paris Saint-Germain involving Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly weighing up a move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, but only if Paris Saint-Germain sign him permanently first.

Icardi has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with PSG after falling out with Inter, scoring 12 goals during his spell in Ligue 1.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juve are interested in bringing the 27-year-old back to Serie A next season, although they do not intend to negotiate with rivals Inter.

Juventus instead want PSG to take up the £57m option to snap up Icardi on a full-time basis, before then discussing terms with the French club over a possible swap deal.

The report indicates that Miralem Pjanic and Alex Sandro will be offered to the Ligue 1 champions in exchange for Icardi, who has also emerged as a target for Atletico Madrid.
