In response to the speculation, the 21-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Arsenal? That would be a fantastic move for me. However, I am not aware of their interest.

"I am ready to make the next step. Going abroad will improve me and I want to fulfil my potential."

The Tunisian has also attracted reported interest from French duo Paris Saint-Germain and Lille but says he has again heard nothing personally, adding: "I heard about Lille through an agent and through sources at the club. PSG? [There has been] nothing, [just] newspaper talk."
