Arsenal interested in Brazilian youngster Walce?

Arsenal are allegedly looking to secure a deal for Brazilian youngster Walce, who is currently contracted to Sao Paulo.

Arsenal have allegedly identified Sao Paulo youngster Walce as a potential transfer target ahead of the next transfer window.

Although the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic are likely to limit the Gunners in the market, the Premier League outfit continue to be linked with fresh faces.

While experienced additions are at the top of the agenda, Globo Esporte claims that Arsenal are also looking to secure a deal for Walce.

The report suggests that technical director Edu has held an interest in the 21-year-old for a number of months, initially during the January window.

An injury to the defender scuppered his chances of a switch to the Emirates Stadium during that period, leaving Arsenal to pursue a move for Pablo Mari.

However, with just over a year left on his contract, it is suggested that the North Londoners may return with a bid for the centre-back.
