West Ham United will reportedly table a bid to sign Joe Worrall this summer if Nottingham Forest miss out on promotion to the Premier League this season.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall this summer.

The 25-year-old has been a key player for the Championship outfit this season, playing the full 90 minutes in 31 games across all competitions.

Brentford are understood to have tried to lure Worrall away from the City Ground last summer, but The Sun reports that West Ham are now the latest club who are closely monitoring the centre-back.

The report adds that the Hammers will make an offer for the Englishman this summer if Forest miss out on promotion to the Premier League.

West Ham boss David Moyes, who currently has only three fit central defenders at his disposal, is set to target defensive reinforcements in the summer.

Forest are keen to keep hold of Worrall, but they may consider offers between £12m and £15m if they start the 2022-23 campaign in the second tier.

Worrall, who is under contract until June 2024, scored his only goal of the season in Forest's 4-1 victory against FA Cup holders Leicester City in the fourth round last month.
