Craig Bellamy insists that the Welsh contingent have kept Team GB grounded at the Olympics.

Team GB vice-captain Craig Bellamy has claimed that the Welsh influence in the dressing room has aided the side's success at the Olympics.

Bellamy, Ryan Giggs, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen and Neil Taylor have all played key roles Team GB's progress thus far, and the 33-year-old has praised the Welsh contingent for keeping grounded as they enter the latter stages of the competition while others savour chances of medals.

"That's you English! That is what you lot do! I'm Welsh! I'm just grateful to be involved. We are just trying to beat South Korea. You can't look too far ahead. You just can't because anything can happen. Being Welsh has taught me that, with two minutes to go, anything can happen," he told reporters.

Team GB face South Korea in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
