Tottenham Hotspur reportedly tell defender Joe Rodon that he is free to move to another club during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon has reportedly been told that he can leave the club during the summer transfer window.

While Rodon was already on the periphery of the first-team squad under Nuno Espirito Santo, his situation has not improved since the appointment of Antonio Conte.

The 24-year-old has been provided with just three appearances in all competitions since November, all of which have come in cup competitions.

According to Football Insider, Spurs have now formally told the Wales international that they will not stand in his way when offers presumably arrive in the summer.

Despite shelling out in excess of £11m and with three years still remaining on his contract, Spurs will have to be sensible regarding a fee given the centre-back's lack of first-team football.

Since Conte's arrival, Rodon has made more appearances for his country than he has for his club, while just 22 outings have been made since his arrival in October 2020.
