New Everton signing Dele Alli has spoken about his excitement to work with Frank Lampard, believing that he will learn a lot from the former Chelsea player.

Dele Alli has spoken about his move to Everton, and how he expects to learn from Frank Lampard.

Both men are new to the club in January, with the former Chelsea boss taking over as the new manager while the ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was one of his first signings.

"I can learn so much from him. He scored a lot of goals from midfield, I will speak to him about that and the way he fought on the pitch and what he did to make the most of his talent," Alli said to Everton TV.

"Working with Frank and the amazing players here, it is a very attacking way of playing football, that is what I like to do, to be on the front foot, win tackles, get in the box and score goals."

Alli had made 10 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season, finding the back of the net once in that time.

The 25-year-old did play in the third round of the FA Cup, which means he is cup-tied in that competition, therefore his debut for the club will not take place this weekend when Everton play Brentford.
