Paris Saint-Germain's lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table is reduced to three points with a 3-2 loss at Sochaux.

Paris Saint-Germain's lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table has been cut to three points with a 3-2 defeat at Sochaux.

Despite early pressure from the home side, PSG took the lead when Alex headed in Javier Pastore's cross on 29 minutes.

Sochaux got themselves level in the 36th minute as Sebastien Roudet applied the finish to Ryad Boudebouz's threaded pass.

The hosts then led 10 minutes after the restart through Giovanni Sio's strike, which crept under Salvatore Sirigu.

The visitors secured a share of the spoils in the 76th minute when Jerome Roussillon converted into his own net.

However, Sochaux snatched the win with five minutes left to play through Cedric Bakambu's simple finish from close range.
