Preview: Roma vs. Sampdoria

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Serie A clash between Roma and Sampdoria.

Roma will be looking to put the disappointment of their defeat in the Coppa Italia in midweek behind them when they welcome Sampdoria to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.

The Giallorossi headed into the second leg of their semi-final against Napoli with a 3-2 lead after the first leg, but ended up falling to a 3-0 defeat at the Stadio San Paolo.

They will hope that it has no effect on their league form, as they are unbeaten in their last four games and have lost just once all season.

Sampdoria also come into the fixture in good form, having won their last two games in the league.

After struggling in the early part of the season, the arrival of Sinisa Mihajlovic has seen them climb to 12th in the table and away from any danger of relegation.

Roma still have long-term absentees Federico Balzaretti and Dodo missing, while Maxi Lopez is ruled out through injury for the visitors.
