Preview: Roma vs. Cesena

Sports Mole looks ahead to Roma's home Serie A encounter against Cesena on Wednesday night.

Aside from their recent 7-1 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Roma have been one of Europe's most impressive teams this term.

Juventus have dominated Serie A during the last three seasons, but Rudi Garcia's men have hinted that they have the tools to put up a significant challenge for the title this time around.

On Wednesday night, struggling Cesena visit the Stadio Olimpico, with Miralem Pjanic expected to be recalled to the starting lineup at the expense of Adem Ljajic.

To keep his side fresh, Garcia may also reinstate both Ashley Cole and Juan Iturbe to his starting lineup in the Italian capital.

Meanwhile, suspension means that Cesena will be without goalkeeper Nicola Leali following his red card last time out against Inter Milan.

The away side have not won an encounter since the opening day of the season, which stretches back seven winless matches.
