Juventus midfielder Emre Can is reportedly increasingly unhappy at his lack of game time in Turin and has subsequently offered himself to Real Madrid.

Juventus midfielder Emre Can is reportedly increasingly unhappy in Turin and has offered himself to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting place since joining the Italian giants from Liverpool in 2018, making 20 league starts last season and finding opportunities even more limited so far this term.

New Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has handed Can just 52 minutes of game time in 2019-20 and left him out of his squad entirely for the Champions League group stages.

Can was angered by the latter omission and admitted that he would have considered leaving during the summer had he known he would not be called upon in Europe, and reports in Spain claim that he has now told Madrid that he is open to a January switch to the Bernabeu.

The Germany international is thought to be aware that he would likely have to play second fiddle to Casemiro in midfield but is willing to fight for a place in the Los Blancos first team.

Can could be available for as little as €20m (£17.7m) and the report claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez is seriously considering a move when the transfer window reopens.
