Carlo Ancelotti: 'James Rodriguez, Sami Khedira will miss semi-final'

Real Madrid pair James Rodriguez and Sami Khedira will both miss Tuesday's Club World Cup semi-final against Cruz Azul, Carlo Ancelotti confirms.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that James Rodriguez and Sami Khedira will both miss Tuesday's Club World Cup semi-final against Cruz Azul.

However, the Italian has claimed that the midfield pair will be fit for Saturday's final, should Los Blancos advance.

"They will not be ready for tomorrow but they will be ready for the next game," Ancelotti told reporters.

Real Madrid qualified for the prestigious competition by winning the Champions League last season.

The Spanish side will also enter the match on the back of a 20-match winning run in all competitions.
