Rangers end run of draws with win at Hibernian

Rangers end a run of five straight draws with a 2-0 win over Hibernian to go within three points of the Edinburgh club in second.

Rangers went to within three points of second-placed Hibernian in the Scottish Championship with a 2-0 win at Easter Road this afternoon.

Goals from Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller were enough for Stuart McCall's side to end a run of five straight draws.

Nicky Law had Rangers' first real chance, but his free kick was curled over the bar before the half-hour mark.

Wallace opened the scoring two minutes before the end of the first half when he pounced on a loose ball in the box before firing home.

Miller made the result secure 10 minutes from time when he dribbled into the box before finishing past Hibs keeper Mark Oxley.
